ARC Raiders Weekly Trials — Scoring & Strategy

This Week's Active Trials (Apr 20 – Apr 26)

  • Open ARC Probes — Find and search ARC Probes scattered across the map within the raid's time limit. Probes come in two forms: crashed probes embedded in the ground (with black smoke plumes, containing 1 compartment each) and standing intact probes (with blue/yellow lights and beeping sounds, containing 3 compartments each). You don't need to be the first to breach a probe — searching an already-opened probe still awards full points. Earn 4,000 points to achieve 3-star status. This trial is available on all maps except Stella Montis. Best map: Spaceport.
  • Damage flying ARC enemies inside the Spaceport walls — Deal as much damage as possible to flying ARC enemies while positioned inside the Spaceport walls during the raid's time limit. Flying ARC includes Wasps, Hornets, Rocketeers, Snitches, and Spotters. You must be within the main Spaceport compound when dealing damage for it to count toward your trial score. Shooting from inside buildings or from rooftops within the walls all qualifies. Flying ARC patrol the Spaceport in abundance, and Snitches can be triggered to call in additional Hornets and Wasps as reinforcements. Earn 4,000 points to achieve 3 star status. Major map conditions grant a 2x score multiplier. Best map: Spaceport.
  • Open containers inside the traffic tunnels — Open as many containers as possible inside the underground Traffic Tunnels during the Locked Gate event on The Blue Gate. Before you can access the tunnels, the lobby must first locate four Security Codes hidden in containers across four specific map locations (Ancient Fort, Pilgrim's Peak, Raider's Refuge, and Reinforced Reception) and deliver them to the Gate Control Room at the Warehouse Complex. Inside, you must search every container you find to earn trial score. Earn 4,000 points to achieve 3 star status. The Locked Gate modifier itself counts as a major map condition, granting a 2x score multiplier. Best map: Blue Gate.
  • Damage Fireflies — Deal as much damage as possible to Fireflies within the raid's time limit. Unlike other airborne ARC that maintain distance, Fireflies actively hunt Raiders into corners and unleash a continuous flamethrower jet that deals devastating fire damage and can kill you in seconds if caught in the open. They are covered in 360 degree armor plating, making them significantly tougher than other flying ARC. Their primary weak point is a yellow gas tank located on their underside. Earn 4,000 points to achieve 3 star status. Major map conditions grant a 2x score multiplier. Best map: Spaceport.
  • Damage Queens or Matriarchs — Deal as much damage as possible to a Queen or Matriarch within the raid's time limit. These are the largest, most heavily armored boss-tier ARC enemies in the game. The Queen guards the Harvester during Harvester events, while the Matriarch spawns during its own dedicated event. Every point of damage you personally deal contributes to your trial score. Earn 4,000 points to achieve 3-star status. Major map conditions grant a 2x score multiplier. Best map: Dam.

How Scoring Works

Each trial objective has a fixed point value. Harder objectives — killing a Bastion, Bombardier, or Matriarch, breaching a Security Breach room, extracting high-value loot from Hurricane Caches — are worth significantly more than basic kills on Ticks or Pops. Points stack toward a weekly score, and major map conditions like Electromagnetic Storm can grant score multipliers that compound your total. Prioritize high-value objectives early in the week.

Picking the Right Map

Combat-heavy weeks favor Dam (open terrain around Hydrophonic Dome Complex, Power Generation) and Spaceport (dense ARC spawns near Launch Towers and Container Storage) for their concentration of enemies. Looting weeks favor Buried City (Hospital, Town Hall) and Stella Montis (Seed Vault, Assembly Workshop) for high-value containers. Blue Gate's Pilgrim's Peak and Warehouse Complex offer a balance of both. Check the current objectives above before queuing.

Enemy Targets by Difficulty

Low-tier: Tick, Pop, Fireball — easy points, high density on every map. Mid-tier: Leaper, Surveyor, Turret, Sentinel, Snitch — moderate challenge, spawn in specific zones. High-tier: Wasp, Rocketeer, Hornet, Comet, Firefly, Shredder — tougher fights but worth 3–5x more points. Boss-tier: Bastion, Bombardier, Queen, Matriarch — rare spawns, highest point value per kill.

Weekly Reset

Trials reset at the same time each week with no carryover — unfinished objectives are wiped. The countdown above shows exactly when the current set expires so you can plan your final raids. Combine trial objectives with event timer spawns for maximum efficiency per raid.
