ARC Raiders Weekly Trials — Scoring & Strategy

This Week's Active Trials (May 4 – May 10)

  • Destroy Fireballs — Destroy Fireball enemies. Fireballs are explosive ARC units that rapidly approach players and detonate on contact, dealing heavy fire damage. Best map: Dam.
  • Destroy ARC enemies in the Swamp — Destroy as many ARC enemies as possible within the Swamp region of Dam Battlegrounds during the raid's time limit. Any ARC type counts toward your score, from small Pops and Fireballs to minibosses like Leapers and Rocketeers. The Swamp encompasses several Points of Interest including the Hydrophonic Dome Complex, Old Battleground, and South Swamp Outpost. You must physically be in the swamp area when destroying ARC for it to count toward this trial. Earn 4,000 points to achieve 3 star status. Best map: Dam.
  • Search Kitchen Cabinets — Search as many Kitchen Cabinets as possible within the raid's time limit. Kitchen Cabinets are interactable containers found inside residential buildings, canteens, mess halls, and other domestic spaces across the Rust Belt. They typically contain food items like fruits, canned goods, and cooking ingredients, but for this trial the contents do not matter since every cabinet you interact with awards trial score regardless of what is inside. Cabinets that have already been opened by other Raiders still count when you search them, so you are never truly competing for spawns. This is a pure speed and routing trial that requires no combat and no expensive gear. Earn 4,000 points to achieve 3 star status. Best map: Buried City.
  • Damage any ARC enemies — Deal as much damage as possible to any ARC enemy within the raid's time limit. Every ARC type in the game counts toward your trial score, from the smallest Tick or Pop all the way up to boss tier enemies like Queens, Matriarchs, and Vaporizers. This is the most flexible trial in the entire rotation since there are no restrictions on which ARC you engage, which map you play, or which zone you fight in. Every bullet, grenade, and explosive that connects with any ARC machine awards score. Higher tier ARC naturally yield more points per kill due to their larger health pools, but farming large volumes of small ARC is equally viable. Earn 4,000 points to achieve 3 star status. Best map: Stella Montis.
  • Deal melee damage to ARC enemies — Deal as much melee damage as possible to ARC enemies within the raid's time limit. Only damage dealt with your melee weapon counts toward this trial. Firearms, grenades, and explosives do not contribute any score. Every ARC type is a valid target, but small unarmored ARC like Ticks, Pops, and Fireballs are the most practical since they can be destroyed in just a few swings. Earn 4,000 points to achieve 3 star status. Major map conditions grant a 2x score multiplier. Best map: Stella Montis.

How Scoring Works

Each trial objective has a fixed point value. Harder objectives — killing a Bastion, Bombardier, or Matriarch, breaching a Security Breach room, extracting high-value loot from Hurricane Caches — are worth significantly more than basic kills on Ticks or Pops. Points stack toward a weekly score, and major map conditions like Electromagnetic Storm can grant score multipliers that compound your total. Prioritize high-value objectives early in the week.

Picking the Right Map

Combat-heavy weeks favor Dam (open terrain around Hydrophonic Dome Complex, Power Generation) and Spaceport (dense ARC spawns near Launch Towers and Container Storage) for their concentration of enemies. Looting weeks favor Buried City (Hospital, Town Hall) and Stella Montis (Seed Vault, Assembly Workshop) for high-value containers. Blue Gate's Pilgrim's Peak and Warehouse Complex offer a balance of both. Check the current objectives above before queuing.

Enemy Targets by Difficulty

Low-tier: Tick, Pop, Fireball — easy points, high density on every map. Mid-tier: Leaper, Surveyor, Turret, Sentinel, Snitch — moderate challenge, spawn in specific zones. High-tier: Wasp, Rocketeer, Hornet, Comet, Firefly, Shredder — tougher fights but worth 3–5x more points. Boss-tier: Bastion, Bombardier, Queen, Matriarch — rare spawns, highest point value per kill.

Weekly Reset

Trials reset at the same time each week with no carryover — unfinished objectives are wiped. The countdown above shows exactly when the current set expires so you can plan your final raids. Combine trial objectives with event timer spawns for maximum efficiency per raid.
